Meal planner

In a bid to get organised I'm now trying to plan properly my evening meals. I have a 2yr old dd who will pretty much eat anything, and my mum (who is 71 and won't eat anything 'foreign', which includes garlic, pasta, rice etc - got to love her).

What do you do for your evening meals? Im not adverse to cooking twice as mum's meals tend to be very simplistic and don't need much planning, but Im stuck in a rut with me and my daughter and need some new ideas.

Thanks for your help

risotto, jacket spuds with cauliflower cheese or beans & cheese or chilli, spag bol, shepherds pie, fish pie, mince & onions, baked fish with rice or pasta & tomato sauce, pasta bake, roast dinner, bangers & mash, sometimes pizzas, chicken curries, chicken & bacon with a creamy sauce on pasta.

hth, if I think of anything else I'll post again, there's loads but thats off the top of my head

I'm not very technologically minded so I'm not sure if it still possible to open it up but it came from this thread:
