It just has lots of strong Christmassy smells that are clashing?

Try a bowl with hot water and chunk of lemon in it

Usually works for me

MatNanPlusTINSEL · 27/12/2008 15:15

wipe with bicarb solution and leave an opened pot of dry bicarb on the top shelf and stir it daily.

TWINSETinapeartree · 28/12/2008 02:26

So did it work?
Because if not, wiping with water that has a bit of bleach in it is also good. Not much, maybe a splash of bleach in a bucket of hot water.
And then put a bowl of bicarb on a shelf.

Jacksmama · 28/12/2008 02:50

On a shelf in the fridge obviously...

Just before Christmas, dh put a piece of charred wood left over from our fire the night before onto a saucer and put that in the fridge. When I asked him what it was doing there, he said it is supposed to absorb nasty niffs in the fridge. I suggested that maybe we could just throw out the things that have been going mouldy in there for weeks....

Oops, I have used the M word on a thread of Twinset's. Ducks to avoid vitriol...
