Banana stains on baby gros n bibs

My baby loves bananas but ends up with it all over his clothes and I can't get it out. Any ideas?

nope, have never worked out a way to shift it. looks like mould doesn't it? yucky

use bio powder.

I find this odd though, I've gotten banana stains out of curtains just with dry cleaning.

Can I add to / hijack this thread? Has anyone tried getting out stains with Milton? I've been told it can be used as a soak but I don't know how much to use or if you can use it on colours.

Milton acts as a bleach - wouldn't trust it at all on colours. You're better off using Ace laundry bleach or similar if you want to go that way

Hmmm. I just want someting that works. May try Bio detergent.

I used to quickly scrub dd's bib straight after her banabix - just used a washing up brush and dunked it in the washing up water. Then bung it in the washing.

Just to let you know - I got impatient this morning and tried the Milton on an assortment of pale coloured clothes. I soaked them for 45 minutes or so and they're perfect. Colour not faded.

I'll try some napisan/milton soaks. One of my exciting Christmas holidays plans is to declutter nursery and soak bibs/sleepsuits before I go back to work. If anything of the above does the trick I'll spread the word! I'll also be fitting in a few parties as well (between soaks)

i still use sterilising tablets for stains, i add one tablet and soak for an hour, generally it get out all stains from school shirts etc!

So they don't blanch the colours then Bonkerz?

mine never did, even used them on pale blue shirts and colours stayed fine......DISCLAIMER.....i accept no responsibility for anything that happen if you follow what i have done im justsaying what I do and what works for me. One tablet in about 5 pints of warm water and soak for one hour. also gets stains out of plastic cutlary and plates/bowls etc.
