Le Creuset - yes or no?

I need some new saucepans. Children have burned out too many making popcorn. Shall I buy Le Creuset?
Positives
a)they don't burn like that
b) they are strong
c) they last for ever

Negatives
a) they are heavy
b) they are expensive

I have one already - a casserole pot - but are teh smaller saucepans a good idea?

I think the outlets are 30 - 40% cheaper.

pinner4, it's at the very far end on the corner, ie opposite end from Clarks. I think it must be fairly new, it wasn't there the last time I visited.

I love the casseroles and stuff but wouldn;t buy the cast iron saucepans.

i have a casserole pan that's great, but i'd go for meyer circulon for saucepans in that price range, tbh.

I have casserole and a griddle pan which I do use, and saucepans which I never use. Too heavy, I need two hands to do anything with them really, and it's just easier to use something lighter, and non stick as well.

Love them - have several colours - don't care about them matching. Great food and toned arms. Bloody marvellous.

Love them. Yes they are expensive, but I have had my pans nearly 20 years. I have 5 pans, and four casseroles of varying size and colour, also the lasagne dish which is fab. They are heavy, but I am strong - probably because I lift le Creuset every day.

thanks, BELLAKISSSANTA, and HEINZSIGHT for your answers, I'll have a look, I'm looking for that, I wanted them for ages, but the price tag..., anyway, I bought one stainless steel from argos, and is RUBBISHHHHHHHH, such a waste of money, so I'll splash the cash right next.
