Roomba repair - what happens now?

My beloved Roomba is poorly. I have contacted Domotec who are coming to take it away on Friday. Does anyone know what will happen next? Has anyone sent their Roomba off for repair? If so, any idea what will happen now, timescales, etc?

I am oddly bereft.

Oh Katie, my roomie is poorly too! We haven't done anything yet, dp is going to look on the Roomba forums to see if any one else has had the same symptoms first.

It keeps stopping after a minute or two and saying the brushes needs cleaning and seems to be a bit slow.

I would be really upset as well!

Poor hubby, I would check that your front sensors are clean. I had this and my poor baby went slow and started going round in circles. Have you tried lifting the side brush completely out and cleaning underneath? It's amazing how much carp gets under there.

I've tried everything, it was time to call in the specialists.......

Will have a go at that first, thanks.

Hope everything goes well and the op is a success. Good Luck!

wth -Mine kept telling me to clean the brushes so I cleaned the bearings too, they were full of hair, and now it's fine. Worth a try.

Ladies - your advice worked! Dp spent an hour last night detangling etc with a paper clip and embroidery scissors and it's back to it's old self

Thank-you!

The courier came today and took my poorly Roomba away. I'm missing it already.
