but which do I do first? Put it on with the cleaner stuff in it, or clean the filter out??

bella - well it wasn't very expensive (just over £2 for the pack) - and it won't be used very often - I will clean the filter (soon), put the cleaner through it, clean the filter again, and then tonight for good measure I shall do a hot wash (empty) with Biological Powder (iit's that bad I think it will need to "attacks"

I can't hear you 'cos I've run away...

Pleased to report my door seal looks lovely. Positively lovely. And I have never used a cleaner... My manual (hey there, Angel!) actually prohibits their use (too corrosive apparently )

And guyfawkes - £2!!! 20p per dose of bio powder, max. That's at least £1.80 to spend on chocolate

Girly swots. I want to see if I have a filter but dd is asleep on me. I do de-gunk the drawer but I am aware of a selection of filth inside the door rubbery thingy

Anna8888 · 21/11/2008 14:37

You can put the drawer of your washing machine in the dishwasher - it comes out just like new

twoluvlykids · 21/11/2008 14:37

well, I've learnt lots of new things now...

filters....manuals...cleaning washing machines...door seals...the drawer comes out..

And if you always wash your cotton sheets and towels on 90° with a double dose of Ariel, you won't need to clean your machine often at all - the hot wash will do it for you.

midnightexpress · 21/11/2008 14:41

Filter? Gosh.

LoveBeingAMummy · 22/11/2008 22:50
