Do they really last longer if handwashed?

I put mine in an old pillowcase, also wash tights like this, they look fine.

I don't feel so bad now
Bravissimo woman told me I should be handwashing them

I throw them in the machine. I never spend more than a tenner on a bra if I can help it though. Asda all the way!

Handwash when I'm feeling virtuous. Machine wash on gentle cycle (done up and in net bag) at all other times.

I machine wash. they seem to be lasting ok to me

LoolaBoys · 14/11/2008 21:17

I machine wash, cos I'm lazy.

Best thing I was told once in some bra shop was to handwash inside out. Wasn't really sure how to do them inside out!

Suedonim · 14/11/2008 21:44

Machine wash. But why would you want them to last longer - tis nice to buy new ones in the sales! Although tbh, I don't think I've ever actually worn out a bra.

Always handwash. But then they did cost £50 each so I'm not going to risk snaggling them in the washer.
