scattyspice · 21/10/2008 15:50

BiancaCastafiore · 21/10/2008 15:53

Jas that is awful.

The tip is a good idea

I'm off to collect dd now - she's finding school hard going again atm so I am worrying about her

lucysmam · 21/10/2008 16:13

Jas that is horrible news

Your poor dd bianca* I hope she had a good day today xx

I'm busy looking at halloween things

I have started to collect different size tin cans to make These

I LOVE Martha Stewarts web site....loads of cool halloween ideas! Its just a shame I'm not anywhere near as talented! I wouldn't know where on earth to start with most of it.

grouchyoscar · 21/10/2008 18:06

Jas That's terrible

Bianca Hope DD is on the mend

TMH {sad] You must feel like Mrs tiggywinkle with all that washing

HEllo to Everyone else

Collected Ed who had a great footy sesh and I've made lunches and I'm now making spaghetti and meatballs for all. I'm a footy widow tonight so it's me, Ed, tea, spellings, schoolbook, a twinkly bath and cartoons til DH comes home in a grump

lucysmam · 21/10/2008 18:09

I'm back . . . been rummaging in my wardrobe . . . luda I have some Avon order forms & possibly some other bits if you want them? posted my email address earlier let me know

Just had a late tea with the lo, trying to extend her day to 7pm ish in the hopes it stops random night time waking up

I like the look of those lanterns . . . if I could be arsed with halloween would make some, but am already doing bonfire night for family this year & Xmas is up in the air

Would any of you ladies find a pair of size 5 girls trainers useful? My lo grew out of them a while back & they're still in good nick

(been rooting around in case you hadn't guessed)

TheMadHouse · 21/10/2008 18:20

Evening all

Jas That is terrible news, so . I hate it when children are involved.

Bianca Hope DD is OK

I have been to get DS2 some boots from the local independant shoe shop £42 no treats for us this month - bloody hell. Tried clarks and brantano first and nothing fitted or felt right.

Also been to the pound shop and pound land and got some great Christmas stickers and stuff, so the boys can do cards. Also make your own crackers for £1 - great bargains.

Ours also had some diecast underground Ernie Trains in too.

My hand is throbbing like mad

Chance for a proper catch up now . . .

Jas that's awful news

Ruby was the halloween party fun?

Mad @ £42 for boots! We had to get our lo boys trainers today as no-one had any girls ones in size 6! Sound like some good bargains in the £1 shop, will take a wander through ours on Saturday.

grouchy a twinkly bath

kaplum dress is fab! at how much though but I am of you getting to play dress up!

I have baked, cooked tea, washed pots, rummaged, put the lo to bed & am now doing nothing for a bit, except play on MN & then sort my lists for tomorrow and possibly Thursday. Need to seriously blitz the house tomorrow then start to declutter again ready for xmas

Hope you've all had a good (ish) day

Bianca Happy Birthday to your DH. Hope DD had a better time at school. DS2 is having some trouble finding people to play with. He has loads of friends so i am not sure why he can't find someone to play with.

Happy Birthday IVC. TMH Ouch! Hope the injection works.@£42 for kids boots. DS1's school shoes have broken.Think i will take them back. Only bought before school went back.

Jas That is very .

Lucysmam Thank you. Will email you in a min. Still not convinced but worth a try. I really didn't plan to spend so much but maybe can sell it next year and get the money back! Or keep it incase of more parties! Might not fit or look right anyway!

scattyspice · 21/10/2008 20:12

Back from swimming (we seem to be making progress ) and done my list.

mad at the boots. Were they walking boots? TK Maxx do kids walking boots for about £15, always worth a look.

TheMadHouse · 21/10/2008 20:28

Scatty No just boots for boys (clarks) he is a 7.5 G or H he is only 26 months old.

Bargain for you all for next week bowling for a penny I have just booked for tuesday morning - thought it would keep us busy and introduce the boys to 10 pin

Ds1 is up - he has a sore bum.

evening all
have done most of what I wanted to get done.

Christmas cake is in the oven, boys are in bed, DH is out partying, house is clean and tidy (except for cooking stuff from kitchen which I will clean up when I go to check on the cake)

back later.

Jas · 21/10/2008 21:13

Evening

Not sure what I will be able to do to help, tbh. I am ok with practical stuff, buit it is too soon to be knocking on her door I think. I was going to drop off a card tomorrow.

TMH The dds were similar with shoes when small. I occasionally had to buy 1/2 size bigger to get even an H to fit dd1, and she didn't get any boots until she was about 6 as none were wide enough.

Thankfully as they have grown, thier feet have slimmed down, and they can now wear cheap shoes

I've baked and painted and played with the dc this evening

We are doing a clock with handprints from all three of them for dp for Christmas, and it needs to be done to send away later this week, so the paper version of that is done, too.

TheMadHouse · 21/10/2008 21:18

jas He walks out of shoes , so boots or nothing

OP posts:
Jas · 21/10/2008 21:21

I do that!
I have to go straight from flip flops to boots. I just can't wear shoes.

Maybe he will manage as he gets older, even if only trainers or something.

TheMadHouse · 21/10/2008 21:23

thats the idea - he has such a great big instep. Theory is that it will flaten and his feet narrow as he gets older.

I am contemplating tights under trousers if this doesnt work
