Vomit stain....

Any tips for getting a browny-orange vomit stain out of cream carpet? Vanish has lightened it, but there is loads of it and not in a good place to throw a rug over and am most sad to look at it every day.....

If it's newish, try spraying it with water (one of those garden spray things that you also use for ironing!), then sprinkle with soda bicarb and leave overnight and then hoover up.
