Empty boil wash?

Try and leave door and drawer open after every use.

BBBee · 18/09/2008 20:40

bacteria build up?

WM man told me to do a boil wash every few weeks to stop it happening.

Try boli wash with biological powder.

My washing machine is the same - BBB do you mean an empty boil wash with biological powder?

Have you peeled back the rubber seal just inside the door & had a look?

We've stopped using detergent and now only use EcoBalls and white vinegar. The WM had an incontinent moment last weekend and DH was pleasantly surprised how it didn't smell at all when he had to pull it all out.

The balls do get stuff clean (well, not grass stains or tomato, but then I put vanish on those) and it feels so soft you don't need conditioner either.

Also hot wash with some napisan in it will do the trick - no need to make it an empty one - just wash some towels or something

Occasionally when we have this problem I do a hot wash with white vinegar (and no clothes). Seems to sort it out.
