Hi,

Last day before school starts, and I found dd2s missing school shoe

Just a quick post, then I will try and return to normal tomorrow...

I don't wear shoes inside (or outside if I can help it!), and never weigh myself (don't own scales).

I am now the proud owner of a new (preowned, rescued from a skip) dishwasher. I'll reprot back if it works, later in the week. The t/d that was in that spot in the kitchen is now at the dump.

I got my first Christmas countdown email today

I'm not prepared at all this year so I'm going to try and follow it this time round. Once I get a ladder I'll go up in the loft and see if there are any presents up there that can be put to use...

I weighed myself this morning
It was Not Good

Have been trying to be good
DD has just bitten DS (he was yelling at her she retaliated)

Am meant to be on an alcohol free week (starting today)

Am hiding upstairs to avoid the lure of the bottle.

House is tidy though (and did some ironing)

I have done that this year. I have all of DS1 t/shirts, shorts. tops. jumpers etc. He needs some nice jeans and trousers, but that is it. Most have come from FF, GAP or Boden in the sales. I find that way it last for DS2 and then I can give it away or e-bay it.

Asda, Tesco and Primark stuff is false economy as I can not pass it down, so end up spending again on DS2.

Also I am a bot of a snob when it comes to clothes, I hate them to have NEXT emblazoned all over them or look exactly like all the other boys out there.

I buy white long sleved vests from M&S and use them under t-shirts with them for the layed look - they love it and it is dead cosy in the winter.

They are the best dressed boys around, only wish I could stretch it to me and DH

evening

Have just had tea, remains of stew from last night . . . yum! & am off to do pots in a bit. Then shower and chill with oh.

Not done a lot this afternoon, spent most of it playing with lo as mil didn't end up taking her out after all for her and me, I was looking forward to a peaceful hour in the kitchen!

Katie bet your course is fascinating! I would have loved to have a brainy brain like that, instead I'm good at English and sewing & I don't think I'm going to be the next Christian Dior somehow

anyways, off for a wander then pots. tata xx

Should I post or just start Tuesday's thread?

Hello

Ed back at school and calm reigns

Did my morning routines,
Caught up with a mate,
wandered round Tesco, home,
collect Ed,
clean out the deep fryer
made tea,
Make butties for morning
Tidy away
Clear fridge doors
Empty WM
Sort for drying
Hang to dry
Put stuff from fridge door on Ed;s bedroom wall
S&S kitchen surfaces
S&S bathroom

Hang on, I ramble, Hope you've all had a great day
Read Ed's story
