No. Rainwater is softer and makes everything lovely.

foofi · 29/07/2008 11:48

No, it's quite nice to give it another rinse!

Twinkie1 · 29/07/2008 11:48

Hope not - DH left all the towels out last night and I can;t face having to wash them again - they are lovely and soft though!

God no! If I've not long put washing out, and it starts to rain I leave it (rush out like an idiot if it's been out there a while and it's nearly dry). I've left washing on the line for several days before now (not for a long time I hasten to add).

depends on whether you live in a city or not.Rainwater can be quite dirty.
Personaaly i never bother rewashing as i think it is a waste of energy.

jesuswhatnext · 29/07/2008 15:12

my nana always called it a 'heavenly rinse'

i never do. Sometimes it our there for a few uh 'rinses'!

Flum · 29/07/2008 15:23

So you put the washing out the night before. Oddly always wait til the morning to do it. Not sure quite why.

4andnotout · 29/07/2008 15:24

If you use cloth nappies it's positively encouraged to leave them in the rain as it softens them
