Oh Ruby.. is it the ELC pink paint?
the only thing I have found that shifts that is strong bleach,

Have done 2 more loads of washing and ironing.
Making the most of the sunshine.

Anyone know how to clear those little thunderbugs from the house?

lucysmam · 22/07/2008 17:36

hello again all, had a productive dat again, been to town to job centre (not much use if you ask me)! not impressed with insurance though, apparently my new fridge (not fridge freezer like the old one is) is being delivered friday, there was no mention of my cooker & they didnt bother to measure so how they know it wil fit in my minute kitchen is beyond me!!!!

have also got a chocolate covered daughter to bath before bed but really not in the mood now

rowingboat · 22/07/2008 21:26

Oh dear Ruby, good luck with the paint!
Lucysmam did your insurance company replace a fridge freezer with a fridge?! I think a chocolate covered daughter sounds delicious.
Have got LO to go to sleep and am now baking a pie - would have done it earlier but ran out of eggs. Still have to do dusting in sitting room, evening routine which won't take long and declutter book shelf.
What happened to the DVD/book swap??
The declutter is creating quite a stash of books for the charidee shop.

TheMadHouse · 22/07/2008 21:59

Ruby Do you remember when DS1 put pen on the sofa that never came out. The insurance inspector told me that he has had more claims due to ELC pain than anything else. Could you try your insurance company - thas what you pay them for.

We have sent my mum home, as I am feeling fab and we could do with some peace

I had an hours sleep this afternoon and DH has been trying to stop me doing studd.

I think DS1 is unwell - he is running a temp and his penis hurts again so we might have a trip to the GPs tomorrow

DH has been wonderful and the boys had a nice bath with me. You know what I love my family

TMH, it is lovely to hear you so happy.
I am pleased you are feeling better.

rowingboat · 22/07/2008 22:05

Hi TMH, glad to hear you are feeling so well.

tortoise · 22/07/2008 22:31

Evening all.
I haven't felt too bad today apart from being hungry and a bit wobbly from lack of food. I have been eating glucose sweets which have helped.
I did manage the job centre too.

Today i have eaten-
1 cereal bar for breakfast
1 cereal bar for late lunch
jelly
and jelly.

I have bought some tinned spaghetti which i will try and force myself to eat tomorrow.

DS1's leavers BBQ went well. I managed to join in with rounders. Even hit the ball once! Was hell smelling the burgers cooking.

TMH Glad all went well and you are doing ok.

Last toddlers for DD2 and i tomorrow and i can't stay for the party because DS1 had his leavers assembly.I think there will be a few tears.

I made LDC for the toddlers party but it went wrong. So because i ran out of grease proof paper i have made LDfairy cakes for the Mums and any Dads lol!

TheMadHouse · 22/07/2008 22:35

Tort I think you need a good telling off - get to the doctors.

Look at me, I have been in and out in one day and one night and if it wasnt for lifting DS2 then I would be fine.

You need to get well woman

tortoise · 22/07/2008 22:55

Drs tomorrow TMH. You do have someone home to help you though. DS's could stay at their Dads for a night or so but poor DD's have no-one. Other than the child minder down the road who is reg for overnight care. It is them i am worried about.

TheMadHouse · 23/07/2008 02:17

Tort - I know that I have help - well sometimes. DS1 just wet the bed, so I have stripped and remade it, carried him to the loo and put him back to bed. You will manage, your girls are older than my two and I am sure we can arrange some support for you.

I just want you to get better, Gall bladder attacks are horrendous. I was not being flippant with my doctor thuing.

I love my man, but god they can be so bloody dead to the world when they are needed
