anyone know how to keep it fresh for more than a day?

Buy organic watercress in a plastic bag and find after 1 day in fridge it has drooped.

Store in a glass of water maybe?

any ideas?

sorry this won't help but I don't buy watercress unless I am going to eat it that evening (sorry said it won't help you!). Will watch this though because I love the stuff.

try taking it out of the bag

have currently put it in a jug of water - it has the stalks still on it- but at £1.20 a bag ( waitrose darling!) it's too expensive to eat once then chuck away!

I fond the bagged sort when it's all in bits- rather than on the stalks- lasts longer, which is weird- but maybe that is cos it's not organic and it is full of nasties to keep it fresh

keep the ideas coming please. Don't want to have to keep making soup

Apparently the best way to store it is with the stems in water and the leaves loosely covered with a plastic bag.

I never need to store it as I eat it all in one go. I love it.
