Are they for the bin, why does it happen and does it ever happen with expensive ones?

I think you are supposed to make sure they are completely dry before putting away. I normally put mine in the oven when i have finished using them and then they dry off in the heat!

I will remember that for the future but what to do with the one that is spoilt?

Someone told me to rub the rust with a cut potato. But that was worse than useless, so don't fall for it!

Just gently scour it off.

You can then oil the tray and dry it properly which will help it be rust-free.

I just keep using them. Bit of rust never harmed anyone.

Or did it?? [worried emoticon]

With the ones i have that are ruined i use silver foil when i use them, and then recycle the foil, far easier than cleaning trays!!!

Thanks for all the ideas!

I don't worry about the rust either; just rub them over with a bit of kitchen towel and oil and they're fine. We've just bought a snazzy new one, though.
