What do you do with wet dishcloths waiting to be washed?

Also wet towels. And flannels. We have a wetbag for the bathroom for flannels as we use a lot but it feels like we always have manky old dishcloths hanging around waiting to be washed. I'm sure there must be a better system than our non-system.

An old washing up bowl under the sink, just chuck them in and wash them all at the weekend.

Exactly this

Just bung them in the washing machine until the next load?

Towels go over the bannister to dry then back on hooks. Flannels hang over the shower, they don't get washed every use!

We have exactly the same method!

They go on the floor in front of the washing machine and are put in the next load.

Same.

They get thrown into drum of washing machine each night, or onto floor in front (utility room), also any tea towels and hand towels.

I have one of those fold up washing buckets that I throw anything wet into. I usually wash whatever is in it every 2-3 days.
