New washing machine is rubbish

I have a brand new Hoover washing machine and it’s absolute rubbish. It has destroyed clothing leaving them stiff, wrinkled, rough, stained and full of bobbles. My old Hotpoint never did this even though I used to overload it. Live in a hard water area, used to use two pods and a good dose of fabric conditioner and our clothes looked like new all the time with the old machine. This new machine has absolutely wrecked everything I’m not sure what to do. Have tried using less detergent, smaller loads even though this is a bigger machine, lowering the spin cycle and all types of settings (even additional ones on the app) but I’m really not happy. Hoover have said as we have passed the 30 day period, they can only send someone to look at it. Am I missing something or are new machines, using less water due to environmental reasons, and in turn ruining clothing?? I don’t even want a repair, I just want the damn thing taken away.

I have a Candy, I did have a Hoover and got fed up with it because I kept pressing a button, accidentally, that meant I couldn't open the door! Even when the wash had finished. The repair man said it was the most common call out he had. The Candy one is fine! And cheaper.

I thought it was just me! I have a Hoover machine, all clothes are screwed up beyond belief.I’ve tried using less spin, but it’s rubbish never again.I had a beep before, hardly used an iron. Not really sure which programmes to use tbh.
