Frog Vacuum GIF

Hi,
We’re moving to a bigger home and are considering getting a robot vacuum cleaner with a mop function. The downstairs has hard flooring and wood, while the upstairs is carpeted.
Could you please suggest a good robot vacuum with a mop, ok to go with mid to high range if it is going to give me peace of mind ;)
I was looking at the Eufy Omni S1 Pro, so it would be great to hear your thoughts if you’ve used it, or if you have any better recommendations.
Thanks in advance!

I’d suggest you get a mop one for downstairs and a dry one for upstairs. Just program to trundle around each day and your house will be cleaner than you can imagine!

I have Eufy too and recommend them

Yes, I would go for two separate ones. I’ve had a robo hoover for years and then got one with a mop function as well in the autumn. It’s amazing!
The only thing I would ask is how old are your DC if you have any? If you’re at the stage of life where there might be Lego pieces, Playmobil accessories or similar lying around on the floor then you might need a re-think

We have the Eufy X10 Omni. It's been fantastic. It seems happy to switch from hard floors to carpets to thick rugs downstairs and then we also put it upstairs to hoover the carpets...although it can't mop upstairs as it's not near the base but it has made a map.

I think ours is the pro omni x10 too, it's pricey, but great. I dont think its as good as a bucket of hot water and a mop, but it's much better than my previous one, the dirty water cones out filthy, so it is working. And let's face it, I'm never going to Mop twice a week like it does!

I have the Roborock Qrevo with mop function. I am on one floor only and all floors are wood or tile.

I love it! Having limited mobility, it's brilliant for me. I can sit in the armchair and set it off on its way using the app on my phone. It is totally ruthless and focussed on the job in hand.

Once finished, it sends itself back to its dock and then cleans and dries its mops. I set it on its tour every other day in general.

Two separate ones sounds ideal!
DC are 9 and 12 and very much in the LEGO phase, but they usually build and then don’t revisit it, so that shouldn’t be an issue.
Can I ask which robot vacuum with a mop function you have?

Good to know that the Eufy X10 Omni works well. Does it have a vacuum‑only mode? I’m checking whether it would be suitable for the upstairs area, which is carpeted and wouldn’t need the mop function.

Thanks so much — that’s really helpful!
Getting a mop one for downstairs and a dry‑vacuum one for upstairs sounds like a great idea, especially with the different flooring.
Good to hear another positive review for Eufy too

@Neyar yes you can tell it do do whatever you want.

Thanksforyourlackofthought · 09/02/2026 18:52

I’m just looking at the eufy 10. There seem to be a lot of options of the 10 on the website though.

Cheeseagain · 09/02/2026 19:12

I’ve had eufy omni c20 since Dec. Love it though he is quite feisty - if he comes across something that ‘moves’ a bit he’ll go back and take a run at it. Can be pre set to mop, vacuum or both and on a schedule. Bit noisy when cleaning mop when back in his house - so don’t hv it on when I’m working as base is near there.

Tiptopflipflop · 09/02/2026 19:22

We have and love the Eufy X10 Pro Omni. We have dogs and children, so our house tends towards grubby, but Eufy keeps it very presentable.

You can hoover without mopping if you want. You can let it work it out, or tell it what to do where.

The water gets filthy so I think it must be doing a good job. Of course it would be cleaner if I hoovered and mopped myself. But given I'm not going to do that daily (or possibly not even weekly) this keeps the house looking respectable.

Lostearrings · 09/02/2026 21:25

We have the c20
I’m slightly surprised at how infrequently other posters are using theirs. Mine is programmed to set off about 10 mins after the DC leave in the morning and then I sometimes send it off again after tea,

flatsevenup · 09/02/2026 21:35

I have an Eufy and had reason to contact them before Christmas. The issue turned out to be the deep pile in my carpet but their customer service team went above and beyond in trying to help solve the problem and sent out replacement parts free of charge, so I would absolutely recommend them.

whattheysay · 09/02/2026 21:46

We have the omni x10 pro it’s very good, the floors look good, we have whitish porcelain tiles in the kitchen and utility, toilet and lobby area and they come up good although I can see some streaks in the daylight but I don’t really care about that.
I don’t have one for upstairs, I would take it upstairs if I wanted it to do that but I have to do the stairs anyway so I just use the cordless Dyson for the upstairs.

edited to add the robot was making a noise so I contacted them, they replied really quickly sent a label, I sent it back and they replaced it, so good customer service

Fullofthejoysofspring · 10/02/2026 06:37

I have a Roborock too - it has a really clever function where it can detect hard floor or carpet, and raise/lower the mop accordingly. It’s brilliant!

pashmina696 · 10/02/2026 06:44

I have the Eufy Omni S1 and it’s really good - I use it pretty regularly and it does a better job of cleaning the hard floors than i expected it to. And as a previous poster mentioned the dirty water is very dirty!!! It trundles back to its base to empty the basket, replace water and recharge. I would not be without it!

GiantTeddyIsTired · 10/02/2026 06:52

I have the x10 downstairs, and just got the L60 (cheapy hoover only) for upstairs. They are brilliant (plus it encourages me to make sure the floor is clear)

The X10 did have a tendency to get its mop-pads stuck on the hall rug edges, but that seems to have improved, and I just took the rugs out of the kitchen entirely (they were mainly to catch the crumbs so they didn't stick to my feet between hoovers, but since the eufy goes around every day that's no-longer a problem anyway)

I do like the self-emptying, but I wish the X10 had a larger water reservoir (although my floor area is probably larger than most) and so far the L60 being a manual empty isn't annoying - or at least not annoying enough to spend the extra for self-emptying.
