I have to do laundry at the public laundromat. I would put my cotton sheets and the thin blanket that comes with it and the pillow cases in one washing machine and wash it with detergent. Then I would use the dryer at the public laundromat. I use foca detergent.
I had noticed an extremely small and thin spider on my botton bed sheet. It was like the size of an ant. I had crushed it with a paper towel and then noticed it left a stain on my bed sheets. How exactly do I remove a dead spider stain from the cotton bed sheets? It's like a black spot and it's from the spider I crushed on my bed sheet.
If I just wash it in the washing machine and use detergent, then the dead spider stain would still be there right? Foca seems to contain enzymes but it still needs to be pretreated? How would I do this? I know that when you use the dryer, any stain that you still have after washing it would be set from the heat from the dryer. So how would I pretreat or get rid of this on my cotton bed sheet?
Could I use dawn blue dish soap on a paper towel and water and scrub the area and that would work? Or is that not enough? Would I need to soak it in say oxiclean in a bucket for many hours?
Now at the laundromat, I should use hot or warm water when washing it in the washing machine? I want to make sure I get rid of the stain first before I bring my sheets to the laundromat?
How do I get this insect stain out without soaking it if possible? Could I just scrub the cotton bedsheet with dawn dish soap and water and that would work? When I mean this, I mean like fold it in a way where you don't get any dawn or water on the bed.
