How to get black Dylon out of hands?

It's really bad. I used rubber gloves with holes in them and spent an hour with my hands in holey gloves in the dyed water! I've tried bicarb, toothpaste, olive and salt, but nothing works! I don't want to go into work with my hands like these. They're terrible 😔

If you are alternating soap with oil and a physical scrub like sugar or salt, the only thing left is time.

give your hands a break. You don’t want to make your skin so raw that it gets infected. Then I would go again with sugar and oil. It’s a bit more gentle than salt. I personally like coconut oil if you have it. The thick paste is easier to work with.

I’ve done this far too many times in my life. I’m just the quirky woman who does things like this though. It doesn’t really bother me. As long as I’m not doing things like accidentally starting small fires by using superglue on 100% cotton fabric, it’s a successful day.

Heavy moisturiser and gloves wash again tomorrow

Try the coconut oil, or vegetable oil. Rub it is well and it should lift a lot of the dye out. Wash your hands afterwards with soap.

Just an update to let you know I managed to get the dye out! I washed my hands in household bleach and the dye came out in an instant!

Thanks for that update but it wasn't a sensible thing to do.
