How to quickly dry floor after mopping - cleaner leaving a pond

I volunteer for a small charity organisation which involves managing a village hall.
We have a weekly cleaner who seems unable to dry the floor after cleaning it, and sometimes leaves a large puddle of water - which is dangerous if there activities in the hall just afterwards.
I realise this is the cleaners problem, but I am just looking for a quick solution to help them. We need some kind of product that can easily and quickly dry a soaking wet floor.
I was thinking about one of those V shaped mops with a large opening but will it absorb the water?
Any other bright ideas?

You could get one of the spray mops with a washable pad to avoid the floor getting soaked in the first place.

Get a travel towel that is super absorbant and push it round with a big flat mop.

Noooo don’t get one of those you will be left with an awful mess .
Just speak to your cleaner about ringing her mop out better .

Hmmm, thanks all - so there is no easy solution?!
The cleaner currently uses a normal mop and bucket, but is quite free and easy with the water!

She just needs to use less water!! Ring me mop out better before using it.

Get a rubber squeegee broom, and sweep all the water to one place and use the mop to soak it up and wring out into the bucket. Then stand on a towel and shuffle it over the floor with your feet if it needs to be really dry.

But yes, she needs to use the mop properly in the first place! For a start if she's not picking up the water she's not picking up the dirt either.

Get the wileda spin mop bucket so it wrings the mop out
Otherwise she'll have to just go over the floor with a dry mop or a spray mop with a clean and dry head on to absorb some of it
But why create extra steps when she can just wring the mop out.

She needs to use hotter water and wring out her mop before use. I have a nice mop that has a bucket that wrings it out using a foot thing a bit like this:

Don't use the mop In your picture. It's a 'dry mop' its purpose is to pick up dust.and dirt on a dry floor. It won't absorb the water it'll just move it around. Presumably the cleaner is being paid so I would raise this as an issue with them from a health & safety aspect. They need a better mop like the spin on one posted & hot water that will dry almost immediately.
