woodlice in my bedroom

hi! recently i've been seeing a lot of woodlice in my bedroom. usually i'll see them on / around the windowsill and i'll ignore them because yknow it happens sometimes, but now they're coming onto my carpet and closer to the opposite side of my room where my bed and clothes and stuff are and it's freaking me out quite a bit.

so i live in a council flat with my family and we're a pretty sizeable family with not much room so we turned the balcony into a bedroom years ago, which is my room. there's a window put on there which i'm thinking is the main reason - maybe it wasn't put on properly or something? the entire wall that's closest to the outside is covered in mould which sounds (and is, honestly) pretty nasty, but i'm used to it. my parents have never really been concerned about it so i just always ignored it the best i could, because it would always come back if i tried to clean it off.

recently i've been seeing a lot of dead woodlice and little worms and i hoover them, but now i see alive ones too!! i am not very good with bugs and this honestly makes me want to cry 😭 i'm terrified i'll see one on my bed or something.
also, my room is tiny, it being a balcony and all. it's like the size of two single beds and my bed takes up half the room so not a lot for the woodlice to have to travel to find my bed.

today i came into my room and there were some leisurely strolling on my carpet. i almost cried lol

is there anything i could do to prevent it? i know the main thing might just be the window but i've repeatedly brought it up with my parents and they don't seem to really care enough to do anything about it, so there's nothing i can do in that respect but is there anything else i could do? thank you in advance

They like the damp so I would make sure you open the window fully for half an hour every day to air the room. Buy a dehumidifier if you can and keep that on 24/7. Is the flat rented or owned?

Definitely get a dehumidifier

That sounds very tough OP.
Lots of air, can you open the window every day ?
I completely get you being freaked out by them, though honestly they are harmless.
Keep telling yourself that they are more frightened of you

Try this on the mould ?HG Mould Spray - Ocado https://share.google/m4peI4y98FmsDGt3L

i try my best with the windows, but they're very stiff so they can only be opened a teensy bit i think they're rusted or something? also do you have any recommendations for a dehumidifier? i was looking earlier and there's so many i'm not sure which to even look for!
also the flat is rented. thank you so much for the advice! : )

thank you!! i said above, but i try and open the windows although they can't really be opened that much. and honestly i do get it and i really keep telling myself that. at least it's not a worse bug. although i did have a dream that i got ambushed by them last night 😭
i'm not sure how i'd get my hands on that spray! thank you for the link though. i might try looking for a similar one. previously i've used bleach spray on the mould which removes it but it comes back pretty quickly it's quite frustrating!

HG mould remover is like witchcraft … it’s bloody brilliant stuff!
You can get it on Amazon or Tesco, I think.
Woodlice love moisture and a dehumidifier takes the moisture out of the air. So in effect, it becomes too dry for them. A dehumidifier would therefore definitely help.
