How do you clean your airfryer?

I wipe my airfryer out after every use, and use a scrub pad to go a bit deeper, but it still looks stained around the fan.

It’s getting used 3 times a day.

How can I keep my beloved air fryer spotlessly clean?

I watched a YouTube video on his to clean my Ninja. Hot water two lemons cut up heat for 30 mins and some tiny brushes From Amazon

I don't find it a gimmick, it cleans the trays better than other products I have used.

I'll definitely keep your suggestion in mind if I ever decide to go rogue & not use the silicon liners!

Olive oil is an absolute bitch to get off the tray bits, fairy & hot water do not do the job (nor the new spray fairy stuff). Olive oil goes like chewing gum! Yak. But right now religiously using the silicon liners.

This thread prompted me to look at the cavity and element, they look fine, thankfully, mine is one of the original basic Ninjas though with one basket

Oven Pride on my Cosori inner basket which gets gunk in the fins. Leave it 20 minutes then use a Scrub Daddy or a long handled brush.
Just a wet soapy flannel to clean the cavity.

I saw this reel today where someone pours boiling water in it, with a dishwasher pod, and then puts it onto 'cook' for a few minutes 🤣 It did look quite good after but I've not tried it (YET)

That sounds good!

is it not dangerous if the top bit gets wet??
