How to get tiny shards of plastic out of clothes

My daughter slid down a hill and got splinters (from I think an old piece of plastic) in her arm and in the sleeve of her top. I pulled the splinters out of her arm with tweezers but not sure what to do with the top.. The top is brand new so I don't want to chuck it but not sure how to get the splinters out? Maybe some very sticky tape? Any advice? Thank you.

Sticky tape, then tweezers. Stick your own arm in to check for splinters before DD wears it.
While it is on your arm, run some material that's super snaggy (something like an old pair of nylon tights) that snags over the outside.

Hope DD is ok

Or try a refresh/cool setting in the tumble dryer - that’s my go to when the kids have been rolling in dog hair/tissues in washing machine etc/dried grass seeds stuck into clothes - add a few dryer balls if you have any or a tennis ball. Hope your poor DD is ok, doesn’t sound like that was much fun

Thank you both. That's gives me some options.
