Calling all Henry hoover fans. Henry Micro? Is is worth it?

Our hoover has finally given up. I'm replacing it with a Henry. I suffer from v bad hayfever and also asthma but only during the hayfever season. Do you own a micro? Is it worth paying extra for a micro or shall I go for the cheaper regular Henry?

Why are you replacing it with a Henry, I am wondering?

Personally I think they're not very good, not great suction and the henry I have used blows out dust when you switch it on. Because I used it to clean builders dust which is white I could see it.
It might not be the best thing for your asthma/hayfever.

I thought they were primarily industrial hoovers as they have a commercial grade filter or something.

I've not heard of the micro, is it a Henry but smaller?

Henrys are supposed to be v good (63 positive reviews on Amazon). The micro is the same size as a normal henry but with a HEPA pollen/dust filter. If they blow out dust then I guess the filter would be useful.

Any more thoughts? Does anyone own a Henry micro?

I bought one recently. Bought an expensive Bosch one last year which turned out to be rubbish so had to get a new one. I like it because suction is very good, huge dust bag, long cable and it's fairly quiet (as hoovers go). However not v nimble around corners. BUT big downside -the handles/tube that came with it were v. heavy so I bought aluminium ones on the internet for £25, however I think the is a model of it that has aluminium as standard.

I guess it depends on how much you vac! I often think there is no point because I don't do it very often

it's the best hoover I've had but I don't know the difference between having and not having the filter, because I've only had one with it, iyswim

Don't have a micro but have regular henry and it is fantastic. We have had it for 5+ years and completed big extension during that time and Henry has coped admirably (we also have 3 large hairy dogs and 2 cats which must take their toll). Couldn't recomend the Henry enough it is brilliant. Not I don't work for them!
