Cleaning the bathroom with a bad back

I have really bad back at the moment and am really struggling to clean the bathrooms - especially the loo.

For the kitchen and floors, I use long handled brushes and things like a flash mop. I make sure the DC empty the bottom rack of the dishwasher every day as I cannot reach that low. I use a long handled mop for the baths and shower but what can I use for the loo?

Has anyone seen anything which can clean the outside and (also, separately) the inside of a loo without bending?

I have bought a long handled rechargeable brush from Amazon. About £20 when I bought it. It has a variety of heads. Very good for tiles and has a pointy head for corners. It can go in water up to 5 inches and the video does show it being used in the toilet but I don’t do this I don’t want to contaminate it. I use a flash mop for the bulk of the floor and this for behind loo and sink. Still quite new so hoping it lasts.

A partner or a child?

I'd like to be able to clean it myself if there's a tool to help - relying on DH means weekend only and the kids are a bit young.

I'll look at a rechargeable brush. Not heard of that!

This is the one I got. It has gone up in price a bit.

You can't bend over I realise, but can you get on and off your knees? I suffered with my back in the past, and I used to clean floors on hands and knees the old fashioned way, and for making beds, cleaning the bath and loo etc I used to manage on my knees. For me, using a mop caused me to stoop, and made my back worse.

Many thanks @Dahliasrule Kusr knowing the words "spin scrubber" helps bring up good options - including some which look small enough to scrub a loo.

I can get down onto my knees ok @Eyesopenwideawake - but getting up is agony so keen to avoid.

Hopefully it'll sort itself soon with physio etc but the bathrooms can't cope with this level of neglect!

Lovie, tell your DH to clean the loo - if it's once a week that's fine. No one thanks a martyr.

Sorry - that was meant for @Noseyoldcow

And typos galore - the first should say "Just knowing...."

I'm not being a martyr but with 3 kids and 1 loo, I'm not convinced a weekend only clean is enough.
