Reed diffuser

I'm looking for cheapish diffuser for the Christmas period to keep the house smells nice and warm.

I do cook a lot of variety and including curry so often the whole house smells of curry.

Esp for bathrooms as I have a guest coming over.

I have tried Tesco ones. Sometimes they're good mostly not. I don't have the budget to go overboard with Jo Malone etc. think less than a tenner that'll be pleasant and lasts a couple of weeks.

I have B&M , ASDA, Lidl and Tesco near me. M&S not too far.

Thanks.

My cheap trick is to put a few drops of essential oil on cotton wool and put it behind the radiator.

Lidl do cheap reed diffuser dupes. I've never used them but they're very popular.

Price do kitchen candles to get rid off cooking smells.

I had some decent ones from B&Q of all places. Within your budget and lasted more than a couple of weeks.

With that budget I'd say m&s are generally really lovely.

To be honest if it's a build up of constant cooking smells you'll need more than a reed diffuser to tackle the smell.

A reed diffuser on show somewhere would be nice and M&S is a good shout but it won't be enough to eliminate the odours. I would get a bottle of Febreeze and spray it on all soft furnishings (sofa, cushions, curtains etc) and a PP suggestion of cotton balls/wool with some essential oil (or I sometimes use fabric softener) dropped on and placed behind radiators is a good idea. Also, give the hard surfaces a good wash down (doors & frames, venitian blinds if you have them) as this will also make a difference. Open windows regularly to air the place, I know it's cold you don't have to leave them open but half an hour at a time will really help.
