Help me manage my recycling!

The local council have changed their recycling so we now have plastic bags to collect all plastics and papers etc which is great...But they only collect every other week (plastic one week, papers the next) so this means that I have two big binbags constantly hanging around my kitchen.

I need to organise my recycling, but just don't know how. I don't have a utility room and no real extra space - I've looked at those bins where you have seperate sections for recycling, but after two weeks we have way too much to fit in one bin.

I feel like I am living in a recycled chaos...Help!

Could you put something outside the back door?

Have you looked at the stacking bins? Usually pretty roomy - more so than the ones that are more like the traditional bin, with different compartments. I think Ikea does a stacking bin too.

Ooh - those stacking ones look good - I could keep them outside too!

Thank you!

Actually these are the ones we have (not sure if they're suitable for outside) - we bought them from the Home Recycling site, but it doesn't seem to have them any longer. None of them is cheap - check the prices - they're usually per bin, not for the stack they show in the picture.

Have just looked at the ikea ones but they say not suitable for use outside which is a shame as they look huge and wouldn't fit in my kitchen!
