New mattress

Hi - my daughter is transitioning to full single bed. I plan to keep the mattress well into her teens. So I don’t want a kiddi mattress.

we’ve just bought a high sleeper so I need a mattress that’s lightweight so I can change sheets easily. I don’t mind spending around £100-£200.

I’ve seen foam mattresses are great, anyone have experience with this for children growing up?

My two boys were in bunk beds for years - we had foam mattresses initially and then changed to pocket sprung ones further down the line. We've always got mattresses from Ikea and have been pretty happy with them. I just had a look at their website and you can get foam ones for just under £100 and pocket sprung ones for £140. Their pocket sprung ones are pretty light so you can change the bedding without too much hassle, though I was relieved when we finally had room for them to NOT be in bunk beds!
