I’ve attached a photo and I’m totally embarrassed to be posting it but I need help! Nothing seems to work.

Have you read Nancy Birtwhistle? She’s on IG (ex GBBO) and her Pure Magic cleaning recipe would probably sort that.

What have you tried?

RandomMess · 14/09/2024 13:25

Its mould, mould and mildew remover is what you need.

Arafon · 14/09/2024 13:26

I think its a type of mould so I would probably err towards something like HG mould remover or bleach

CoastalCalm · 14/09/2024 13:26

HG mould remover

Pure bleach/eg domestic and an old toothbrush. Scrub the grout and leave the bleach on for 30 mins before rinsing. Will return to sparkling white.

The detail mould and mildew remover is the best thing I have ever used in grout

This is what I do and it works. Any tough bits gets re-treated. If I use a sponge to wipe the bleach over it doesn't work, you really do need an old toothbrush. Then rinse off with the shower. So easy (and very satisfying!).

I did have HG mould remover in the cupboard so I’ve just been scrubbing at it with an old toothbrush. Have left it to work!
