can anyone help me??
Most of our loo is sparkling clean but the bottom of the bowl (under the water) is really stained. I've tried scrubbing with a loo brush, got marigolds on and used cilit bang with a sponge but nothing is shifting it.

The problem is that it's under the water.

Does anyone have any ideas pleeeeassee!!

You need to use the brush to push the water down and then add the cleaner leave it and give it a real scrub.

Also you can get tablets that you add and they fix and clean under the water area

push away the water with the loo brush.

then put some limescale remover down there, we use harpic 100% limescaler remover (the blue one). leave for 20mins, then scrub with brush. flush.

Coke is supposed to work as well. No wonder it rots your teeth if it can descale bottom of the toilet. Also if you can bail out some of the water with a small cup or something it will make it easier to clean it .

domestos have ace new product in black container
it sticks under the water like lime green snot bleach
TIS FAB
No scrubbing nothing
think its called zero limescale

I second Harpic 100% limescale remover.

Tis fantastic.

I do use a small plastic cup (used only for this purpose) to scoop all the water out then the Harpic is put neat onto the limescale with no dilution.

Cup is then bleached to within an inch of it's life

StressTeddy · 18/04/2008 21:40

Bleach - nothing can beat it
I would wear bleach as a perfume if I could!!

LooBrush · 19/04/2008 02:58

Just a (late) update - bought the domestos no-messin' limescale remover and it did the trick ! My loo is no longer scanky!!

Thanks everyone!
