Hi everyone! I've been finding these tiny bugs for a while now, in cupboards, under sofas, basically anywhere that isn't disturbed too often.

I initially thought weevils but I'm not sure? My friend tells me bugs are normal in a house but these things give me the heebejeebies!! I'm hoovering and bleaching lots but still manage to find one if looking hard enough. Help!!

If they are a reddish brown they might be bedbugs, can you squish one,

It's just a booklouse. Nothing much to worry about, perfectly normal. Less harmful than bleach for sure. Definitely NOT a bedbug.

Thanks for all your replies! They aren't red when squashed - i had looked in to bed bugs but it didnt seemed to fit.

Now how on earth do i get rid of them? Or do we just learn to cohabit?
