How can I get lint out of a crease that I can't fully open?

Help, how can I clean this?

I have a very light and airy white linen shirt which I am very fond of but the box pleat where the buttonholes are is causing a problem. It isn't stitched but just folded – but the buttonholes are stitched in which holds the crease in place.

Lint and dust accumulate in this crease, which I can't open up fully because the buttonholes are stitched in. The result is a dark line showing through (because the linen is so light), reminiscent of the digestive tract of a prawn, and it doesn't look nice.

How can I get the lint out? Some sort of thing I can thread through it and pull back and forth?

Would canned air (air duster) blow it out? It has a thin straw nozzle attachment to get in tiny nooks.

tweezers perhaps?

Could you swirl an eyelash spoolie in there?

I like all the suggestions. I might try a cocktail stick or something.

Dental floss and a fine needle? (If it gets crap out of teeth- should get lint out of a tight gap)

If threading a needle is difficult you can buy pre threaded sewing needles for embroidery and in those emergency sewing kits.
