OP posts:
Nbg · 31/03/2008 22:04

magnesium sulphate is very good from drawing out puss from your toes if you have bad ingrowing toe nails.

Not that I've had to do that

SoupDragon · 31/03/2008 22:06

I was thinking the answer would be "A housekeeper and a cleaner"

In fact, I still think that's the answer. along with a nanny.

SoupDragon · 31/03/2008 22:06

and possibly Capt Jack too.

Heated · 31/03/2008 22:08

I was so sure it was going to be a naked man chained to the sink.

Ok, I'll bite, what do I do with the magnesium sulphate?

sushistar · 31/03/2008 22:09

A husband like mine, who shares the huosework 50/50.

JackieNo · 31/03/2008 22:09

Vinegar I understand. But what's magnesium sulphate for then?

sushistar · 31/03/2008 22:10

And several cats. Preferably one for each room.

cheesesarnie · 31/03/2008 22:10

nbg-eurgh!

expatinscotland · 31/03/2008 22:11

What Soupy said, but add in a cook and a personal trainer.

Nbg · 31/03/2008 22:11

mag sulph is a drawing thingy ma jig.
Say if you had a splinter, it would draw it out.

But I'm sure it has some other household use too.

Pavlovthecat · 31/03/2008 22:11

nbg - my mum used to have this for me when I was little. It soo works!

dylsmum1998 · 31/03/2008 22:14

StripeyMama · 31/03/2008 22:15

A bottle of gin.

Spare batteries.

A blond/e Swedish au pair.

Nbg · 31/03/2008 22:15

I'd never heard of it before I met dh.

I was convinced he was going to burn my finger off when he suggested I used it to get out a splinter.

choccypig · 31/03/2008 22:19

torch
fuses

dylsmum1998 · 31/03/2008 22:23

windygalestoday · 31/03/2008 22:26

you can buy it in a pot at the chemist for about a pound......the gp was very surprised i knew about such stuff......it does tend to get seperted and requires a good stirring before use.

MaureenMLove · 31/03/2008 22:26

A suitcase packed and ready under the stairs? Possibly containing passport and money too?

beckyvicky · 31/03/2008 22:27
