Which mould and mildew remover?

Have tons of mould around all our windows, have been wiping it down with a bleach solution every week or so but all that has done is turn it slightly grey. Is there a product that actually works to get rid of it?

I think the mildew removers are just expensively packaged bleach TBH (certainly bleached my towels anyway). Try a stronger solution? I have cleaned plastic window frames with neat bleach and any old tooth brush, without any ill effect and they came up lovely. If you don't rinse it afterwards, that helps stop it coming back. Not very green, but I don't know of an alternative.

To prevent it, you need to keep the room ventilated. I open all the fan lights here for about 1 hour when we get up in the mornings and it works a treat.

neat bleach is the only thing that really works in my opinion. dont water it down, use an old toothbrush to scrub the mould. it works! believe me- i bleach everything and our house is riddled with mould!

hehe just saw perpetualworriers post lol

We have this problem and I found nothing worked (except bleach which turned it grey but didn't get rid).
Is it on the sealant around the windows? Thats where we get it. In the end dh removed and then redid it all.
