Help! How do I get rid of bleach smell left by cleaner?

Can anyone advise how to get rid of an awful smell left by the cleaners? It smells like wet dog to me, but my husband is convinced it's just the over enthusiastic use of bleach, either way it's extremely unpleasant. I left doors and windows open after they left and have wiped a few surfaces in the areas where the smell is strongest.
I haven't used cleaners before but wanted professionals to carry out a Deep clean in the hope that I can keep on top of things going forward. There are a number of reasons why I don't want to contact them to come back, I won't be using them again, but I need to get rid of this awful smell. Ant tips?

Just use hot water to wipe over surfaces and open windows and doors. In future if you use a company state you don't want over powering cleaning products used, theirs so many on the market so something to suit everyone.

Wet dog smell is unlikely to be bleach .. more likely a dirty cloth. Washing surfaces again is the most effective way... if you cam track down the smell. Otherwise windows open, bicarb of soda in a bowl, essential oils / candle.

Agree @ChateauMargaux It's likely to be a smelly cloth. Yuck - horrible smell. I'd be complaining. My cleaning lady uses blue roll/disposable cloths.

Thanks everyone for the comments, I have had to go back over most of the areas cleaned to get rid of the smell.

I did contact them to express my dissatisfaction, as in addition to the smell there were a number of areas which appeared to have been missed. Unpleasant exchange, they were very insistent that they had done everything asked, and even when presented with photos they were reluctant to accept any wrongdoing. Eventually agreed a small discount but the experience has left me determined to keep on top of the cleaning going forward, certainly won't be using them again.

If you decide to get a cleaner again I'd go with a recommendation from a friend or colleague.
