Morning all tortoise - Good for you, planning yourself a night out

I've decided I need to be busy today. I'm going to try and get that duvet sortd before toddler group this morning, then FLY like a mad flying thing this afternoon. FIL hasn't got our new key so I'll have to wait in as i have no idea what time he will be here.

I was in bed before 10 last night so as a result I've been awake for a while already this morning. My morning routine is almost all done, I just need to get the kids out to school and strip the beds ready for washing.

Ds is off on his first full days school trip today - they're going to a train museum so he's very excited! (I do worry when they go off on trips though - not sure how you get through it when they're away for a week!)
Dd lost her 6th tooth last night so she has also been awake for a while after checking to see if thetooth fairy had been (she had )
I have to call into work at some point and also hope to get time to go and help at school after lunch.

Better go and get these children dressed and ready.

Didn't get on MN yesterday as too busy (hard to believe but true) so hope everyone is okay. Will try to catch up shortly.

Rough night, DD awake on and off from 4.30 so totally knackered. Going to be an extra strength coffee day today.

I'm knackered, DD2 was sick 3 times during the night
She seems ok so far this morning though, but I have a lot of washing to do today!

oooooh coal man has just been, wasn't expecting him! he comes on a friday...but obviously its good friday tomorrow isn't it. I look like a complete weirdo! pyjama bottoms, a fleece top and bright pink fluffy socks!....and a beeyootiful bedhead

just checking my bank account...and they are due to charge me just over £100 (for the second time ) for going overdrawn by a collective amount of £26 I have gone overdrawn by about £4 on 4 different ocassions and they have charged me £25 for each time

I have just had to pay £100 this week in charges, for similar reasons for last month!

I just phoned and had a rant....It is ridiculous! Another £100 in charges will make me overdrawn again!!!! so more charges!!! plus, my child benefit has been completely swallowed up bar £12 of it

He reduced my charges which are due to me by £50..... Its better than nothing but I still think £50 is way too much!

Their solution is to get an extension on my overdraught!!!! BUGGERS!
JUST STOP BLOODY CHARGING ME RIDICULOUS FRICKIN CHARGES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have ranted...and have now phoned up so my child benefit and tax credits go into a savings account, then at least they won't get swollowed up by horrific charges and I can actually provide for my kids!

Grrrrrrrr.....

I am going to go and have a sit down!

NAB Hope your day goes ok with no electricity. We're having ours turned off for a day in a couple of weeks - not sure how I'll cope!

I have some clean washing to fold and put away and a hotspot to clear.

Haven't heard from work yet so am not sure what time I'm expected in....

Hmmmm, dh has just phoned from his sisters, they are all staying there tonight as well.
DD1 said that the new baby just cried! and she had to go because they are playing hide and seek and DS didn't want to speak to me Thanks DS!!

Never mind, it means I can keep on top of the house without any interruptions. It is very strange having the house to myself, as even DD2 is as quiet as a mouse, she is curled up watching Dora, and seems completely happy to stay there!
off over to the shop now though, need milk, squash and washing powder.

Must be weird with two of the kids missing Luda, even when you're used to them being out at school!

Grey here too and cold but not too gloomy (yet) The forecast for the weekend is terrible (adding to nerves re car journeys!)
I have done nothing since my last post really...I did put some washing away but have otherwise just sat and had a leisurly cup of tea in front of datime telly
I have another load of dry washing to fold and a second load in the wm so ought to do something with some of it.
Then the bedrooms could do with a hoover and I really ought to tackle a hotspot which is getting out of hand....[can't really be bothered emotion]

I have just opened an email from a friend and his wife who have been trying for a baby for several years - they have a surrogate to carry a baby for them and are expecting a baby in Sept
I am soooo delighted for them

Oh that's brilliant news Bianca! I bet they are over the moon.

What an amazing thing to find - someone brave enough to be a surrogate, a wonderful woman

Agh! Just rang a friend for a chat and have ended up inviting her over for the afternoon - have to get the house tidy now!

Have just written a letter and sent a copy of my CV to the admissions department of the college I want to go to, to see whether I stand a chance of getting on a PGCE course next year. My qualifications are not quite what is specified

Well done - that's a great step towards getting back to work etc

Need to clean up after builders and do more laundry when I get home.
Need to go to Lidl after tea.
