Kids 'jobs'

Hi
I am interested to know how you get your kids involved with housework/chores.
Aside from the basics like making the bed in the morning, opening curtains and turning off any lights etc
Do you have a chart? Or allocate specific jobs (age appropriate) do each child that they need to carry out on a daily/weekly basis?
Charts to tick off as they complete then any additional things for pocket money type set up?

Mine just had to keep their bedroom tidy and put their own things away.
Never asked them to do jobs/ chores...let them be children.
They will have their own houses and jobs to do before you know it. If they asked to help I'd let them..
We used to bake together and l taught them how to sew/cook/ and as they got older how to decorate and put flat pack together.. and they still do it now ( both daughters great at DIY).. My Dad taught me.. but wouldn't say were chores.. just life skills.
They weren't my slaves.

Ours randomly help out as and when it suits them and us. We don't have a schedule as it'd just get ignored! Much like myself and DH each one has chores they prefer. DS1 likes cleaning the bathrooms and emptying the dishwasher and DS2 likes helping with cooking and tidying / folding laundry.
We just encourage them to help and tend to reward them with pocket money or a treat when they do help without us asking.
