Heated drying rack causing stains?

Recently got heated drying rack and have been noticing these strange stains appearing on clothes - look like oil / water stains. Keeps happening… Any ideas what’s causing it?

I’m washing in a Bosch washing machine mixed load at 30 with Fairy non- bio powder and a colour catcher sheet, then straight onto the Lakeland heated airer.

Thanks!

Could be anything, however I suspect it is the 30 degree wash not dissolving the pods fully. Are you doing a very quick wash or overloading the drum?

Maybe try a longer wash - eco mode should be fine. Or 40 degrees, or an additional rinse cycle.

Have you run a drum cleaning cycle at a hot temp over 60? You can do this empty to help remove detergent build up, but there are also special cleaners you can use to clean and descale.

I'm assuming you've wiped over the rails of the dryer, just in case there is any residue on them from manufacture.

Not hot enough wash.

Thanks for the suggestions. I probably do overload the washing machine to get it all done in one… Can that cause staining? They’re stains that aren’t on the clothes when they go in!

Do you have kids playing with bubble mixture?

I don't think it's the dryer, I have had mine years and it's never done that ( in all the mn threads about them, I've never seen that as a complaint)

Yes, a pod that hasn't dissolved fully can cause staining. Overloading on a cool short wash can prevent the pod dissolving as there isn't enough space and (warm) water.

Do you put the pod at the back of the drum under the clothes, as advised on the pack?

Do the stains wash out if you rinse and rub them under water at the sink? If it was grease, it wouldn't.

I rarely use pods. Instead I use liquid bio for colours and bio powder for whites. Also run a cleaning cycle every month or two - my washing machine advises when to do it.

Sorry for slow reply - using Fairy non bio in powder form rather than pods… Haven’t noticed the problem on last few washes, so am hoping it has resolved itself!
