Can anyone recommend a bar of soap that doesn’t turn into a goopy mess?!

As title
Tired of bars of soap in the bathroom dish turning into gross watery globs! We usually buy Dove.
Does such a bar of soap exist?

Roger & Gallet soaps keep their shape integrity - on a vented soap dish. Bois de Santal is a lovely gentle scent too!

Lush Karma soap keeps its shape and doesn't go gloopy. Mine is in a little ceramic bowl & isn't raised, but it's still solid. Smells gorgeous too.

Get one of the soap dishes with fake grass in them from Tiger. No more grotty soap (you do have to clean them regularly though)

You should leave soap to cure for a year to harden. Lasts much longer and my clothes smell fantastic as I keep it in my drawers.

Pears. I use it in the shower, far better than shower gel, gets you much cleaner

I use magnetic soap holders - it can't go mushy because its suspended in the air. Absolute genius invention - have used them for years.

As others said any soap will disolve is left in contact with water so a dish which allows air to circulate is key.

Nesti Dante soaps never go mushy and the scents don't fade.

Kew soap
I’ve had this for yonks (years) on a non draining soap dish, and it’s still very much in tact

Kew Soap, Iris

This luxurious pure vegetable soap is inspired by the fragrance and beauty of the plants at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.

Definitely Pears (although I hesitate to recommend it as it’s already hard to source). And the choice of soap dish is important.

Dove (or any soap that says it contains moisturising cream) is bound to be gloopy.

I'm fine using dove.

Green pears soap is lovely. Sometimes hard to get though.

I haven’t tried the green, will have to give it a go. The other reason I love Pears is that it is the smell of my childhood. I still have the photo taken when my mum entered me for the “Miss Pears” competition.

I agree about Dove OP! I find that Sainsbury's own brand (pure) solves this problem.

The problem with Pears is that it's manufactured in India so not great for reducing air miles.
