Cleaning up after elderly cat

Our elderly cat is peeing on our carpets. I'm using a spray cleaner at the moment, but I think I'm going to have to up my game.

Can anyone recommend a steam cleaner? The cat tends to go in corners so I'd need something which gets into awkward areas.

I'm looking at the Vax Spotwash Home Pet-Design Spot Carpet Cleaner. Does anyone have one of these?

I'm a cat/kitten foster and have always been recommended enzymatic cleaners. They break down the urine, to avoid the cat then soiling the same spot repeatedly (they will tend to go where they have been before). I'm not sure if steam cleaning does the same thing, I've always just used biological washing liquid but I think you can get enzymatic cleaners designed for the purpose of clearing up cat urine.

You've probably already thought about why she's doing it, but from my experience elderly cats can struggle if they don't have enough trays (I'd be trying one in every room) or if the trays have high sides that hurt the cat to step over. Sometimes the type of litter can hurt their paws so might be worth trying other options.
