Washing a beanbag

My DD brought a beanbag to the garden to sunbathe last week. I didn't realise she left it out there and it has rained a couple of times since.
It's not an expensive one, it's from argos and doesn't have a removable cover.
Do you think I could just put the whole thing in the washing machine? Part of me thinks it would be fine but the other part fears that it would generate too much suds or burst and have Styrofoam balls clog up the machine!
Does anyone have any experience of this?

I’m not sure what would happen to the styrofoam balls but I’m not sure I’d risk it!
Is it stained? Could you just try spot cleaning? Fabreeze?
To wash, if there is no opening you might have to cut it open, remove the balls temporarily, wash it and then hand sew it back together? Or even better, put a zip in but that would depend on your sewing skills/having a sewing machine!

If the beanbag has a zip on it, remove the inner bag and wash the outer cover.

If there is no inner bag, get a big bag the size of a large bin bag and tip the contents into it.

If you spill any, if you can, wear rubber gloves to collect them.

Do not wash the beads. Do not vacuum up the beads.
