Killer wasps (for moths)

Has anyone tried trichogramma evanescens Wasps to take on carpet moths? I am so exhausted of the constant cleaning right now to deal with a serious moth infestation. Letting the wasps do the work sounds great but has anyone had any success with this approach?

I haven’t tried using them but did read that the National Trust were trialling them - they have since abandoned the trial:

In 2021 the National Trust in England embarked on a trial of using Trichogramma evanescens, which parasitises clothes moth eggs, in conjunction with pheromones to control common clothes moths, which cause serious damage to carpets, furniture, clothing and other wool and silk objects in historic buildings.[25] The trial was abandoned in 2023; while the microwasps performed well at reducing moth populations in combination with pheromones, they were no better than pheromones alone.

There do seem to be a lot of clothes moths about this year, and have found some in houses that have never had them before. One client has had a big problem over the years, but has had a lot of success recently with these:

Mini smoke bombs

They are, however, highly toxic and need to be used with great care!

Sorry, didn’t mean to include the NH wiki link! Should have been this one:

They worked wonders. After 3 months had to repeat as there were some newcomers.its is advised to have repeat courses every now and then. Probably the most effective anti-moth.

We bought them last year and it was like... where did all the moths go?? We forgot to get anymore. This thread has reminded me.
