Buying new bedlinen and minimum ironing

Any advice on buying a set of new white bedlinen for my king-size bed? I would like something that I can wash, put in the dryer and then put straight back on the bed…. Minimum ironing. Is polyester cotton mix a good option if you don’t want to do ironing? Or are some of the cottons OK to put straight back on the bed with a minimum creasing? I’d really appreciate your opinions.

I use 100% Egyptian cotton, 500 thread count and they have never needed ironing. Do you only wash your sheets in the washing machine? I only wash my sheets whenever I wash them and they never come out creased

This doesn't make sense. I never iron bedlinen because ( as well as the other reasons pp have stated. I hang mine outside to dry and put them back on the bed. Ironing irons the fresh air out of them imho.

I like pre-washed cotton or relaxed cotton and I never iron them. Here's some quite new ones from Johnnies. https://www.johnlewis.com/bedfolk-relaxed-cotton-bedding/snow/p6361082 Looks gorgeous. https://www.johnlewis.com/piglet-in-bed-washed-cotton-percale-bedding/white/p6324547

Get 100% cotton ones. You do not need to iron bedlinen.
Do not get polyester-cotton ones.

Polycotton definitely creases less and quicker to dry, but I usually go for 100% cotton and just put up with them slightly creased!

If you are anywhere near peri or menopause I would steer clear of poly cotton as it can make you feel hot and sweaty! I have used seersucker or waffle designs in cotton for years and just half dry them in the tumble dryer and finish off over an airer, or dry on the line and no creases. The top surface being textured hides a lot of issues. I hope you find something you like!
