I don’t know anyone in real life with one but have seen good reviews. However, they seem to have a few bars. How much can you actually dry on them?

As much as will fit - it takes a fair bit of weight like couple of bath towels, double duvet or as much clothing as will fit.

We have 4 bars maybe 1.5m long each. We can fit more than a full load on ours and it dries overnight.
We use those plastic clip things, one main hook with about 20 pegs underneath to hang the pants and socks off the end of 2 bars to save them taking up space on the main rails.

Love ours. Can easily get just over a full load on it. If there's lots of hanging items like shirts they can be hung on the hanger. Just make sure it gets properly fitted in the ceiling joists though so it can support the weight.

Mine is 5 or 6 foot long and I agree I can dry a full load. It's on the kitchen ceiling and dries pretty quickly too, but I do have to be careful about cooking smells. I tend to dry it overnight and take it down before I start making dinner.

Thanks all - the pictures on websites make them look capable of only holding a handful of items so this is useful to know

I put shirts etc on hangers and hang them through the metal bits at the end.
