One Year old washing machine stinks badly and leaves clothes dirty.

I have a one year old washing machine( Hisense)
It makes my washing dirty by leaving white/grey lines on it.
I use Calgon every single wash, and usually detergent capsules in the drum like Persil etc and Comfort conditioner in the drawer.
I also every few months use Dr Beckmann washing machine cleaning powder sachets to clean it however it does nothing really.
I leave the door and drawer open after I used it.
However it stinks moldy/ damp - disgusting anytime I’m near it.
Last week I decided to run 90 degrees wash to see if that worked, it worked for a day when it smelled ok and now it starts smelled badly again.
Also I cleaned the drawer thoroughly.
What to use to clean it?
I read about to use dishwasher tablets, but I have no dishwasher so I don’t want to buy a whole pack of them and it will be useless..

Once I clean this machine, I will use powder only.
I noticed lately - when the cycle ended and I open the door, there is alway lots of foam left at the doorway.

Detergent instructions tell you to use more than you need, another reason for powder as you can regulate it.
The shite in the pods builds up in the machine, try white vinegar on a 90 wash.
If you put a load of towels in with no detergent you will find you have a machine of suds because machines no longer rinse properly, it's the eco thing. The soap left in your laundry can affect skin.
Look at the absolute crap in the stuff you use, all manner of toxins and slimy, smelly things, limonene, linalool, geraniol, optical whitener (bleach) in all of them except the 'colour' versions and they are horrendously toxi and smelly.
There is no need for all this crap, just detergent without the toxins an slime would be fine and better for us and the environment.

So I did washing today and it still left silvery thin line on a black clothing.
Luckily the sweatshirt was inside out but still…
These are the lines that are left on..

Try doing another hot wash and see if it still foams.

Stop using the pods now. They are a sunk cost. Buy some washing powder next time you go shopping and buy some soda crystals and run a couple of hot empty washes until your machine is clear.

I would now try half a bottle of white vinegar in the drum and pour the other half into the drawer and run on hottest cycle again. Follow with a cold wash and that should get it as clean as it can be.
Sometimes detergent doesn't fully wash out if the drum is over loaded or it's a collection of heavier items like hoodies or towels etc so an extra rinse maybe?

Do the lines wipe off easily and feel sandy? If so it's the seal rubber coming off

Stop using the pods and stop using fabric conditioner.

The best way to get rid of odours is to put 2 cups of Domestos bleach into the washing machine drum and start the cycle on the highest temperature setting preferably 90 degrees. Half way through pause the cycle and leave it for 30 minutes then restart the cycle so it finishes. This is is only method that worked for my machine and I continue to do this regularly to keep my machine clean and free from odours. Try to do some long 40 or 60 degree cycles with powder when washing clothes. Short cycles of low temperatures with pods will leave a build of detergent and bacteria in the machine because the water is not hot enough to handle bacteria and the pods do not contain bleach.
