Least stressful way to look after black gloss kitchen & stone worktops?

Our vendor, who I don’t think ate let alone cooked, installed very expensive black gloss cupboards and black stone worktops in our kitchen.

Does anyone have any useful tips for keeping these looking clean without driving yourself mad? No matter what I do there’s streaks, crumbs or limescale staring back at me.

Plan is to redo the kitchen (the layout is also bizarre) but not for a while unfortunately.

If you go for gloss, I would use kitchen surface cleaner on them with a wet cloth then wipe with a clean dry cloth. Glass cleaner also keeps them looking good too. With the surfaces, change your dishcloth regularly to make sure it's not greasy.

Was going to suggest glass cleaner too. With our shiny black granite that’s what we use. And plenty of fresh e cloths

Baby oil on a cloth

Glass cleaner for the cupboards as PP said.
Worktop Wonder spray for the counters.

Get a squeegee, like the one you clean a shower with. When you clean the worktop, use the squeegee to sweep across the worktop.

We had shiny black granite worktops in our last house ( I chose them) this kept them like mirrors. I much prefer them to the white composite we inherited here, they reflect light upwards. The black gloss cabinets could probably be cleaned in the same way. We have white gloss cupboards ( grrr who invented them) and it works reasonably on them too.

Thank you everyone! Lots of good suggestions for me to try.

@Allthegoodnamesarechosen squeegee is a brilliant idea, I have a dedicated pan and brush for worktop crumbs but this could be even better!

The orange Method spray and a microfibre cloth works well on our gloss kitchen cupboards - no streaks or smears.

I have black gloss furniture and a toddler lol! The green, glass and window minky m cloth is amazing. Either use it dry or with glass cleaner. I don't follow Mrs Hinch but a friend told me she calls it Kermit (if that makes it easier!)
