Extreme condensation caused by tumble dryer?

I have noticed that our utility room is becoming very condensated (not a word but hopefully you’ll know what I mean!) when I’m using the tumble dryer. It’s a tiny room, the coldest in the house usually and on Saturday when I went to collect the items from the dryer I noticed rivulets of water running down the wall above where the dryer is. I touched another part of the wall and it was damp too! I noticed as well a small patch of black mould forming up in the corner of the ceiling. It hasn’t always done this, only the past few days. Could it be due to the drop in temperatures? I can prevent it by opening the window in the utility but obviously that’s not ideal during this very cold snap. Any ideas of what I could be trying to prevent it? Dryer is a condenser.

Is it a vented or condensing tumble dryer?

Either way, it'll get warm, which will encourage condensation on a colder room.

Can you open a window?

You have to vent a room with a tumble dryer in it. Heat and water is going to create damp.

In this very cold weather your walls are probably colder than usual unless they are insulated effectively. Hence not seeing this under normal circumstances.
A utility room is often a high moisture environment but even if it weren't a cold wall will get condensation in any room with or without a dryer.
You could air the room and it would help, or while the walls are particularly cold keep mopping it up to limit the mould
