Restarting kitchen - paraphernalia needed

A close friend of mine had their house destroyed in a fire not too long ago. She’s just had her kitchen and home redone and I’m thinking of getting her some items to restart her kitchen. While in rented accommodation she bought some plates and cutlery but not much else. She’s much dear and I’m ok with money. She’s a cook so smaller items like hand help mixer and chopper, cooking pots etc. I don’t want to spend and buy her something like a kitchenaid or those fancy fryers whilst she hasn’t got basic milk pan IYKWIM.
Does anyone have a list, or ideas? TY.

Just thinking what my regularly used, couldn't live without things are...
Stick blender (you can get ones that also come with a pot so double as a mini pot blender)
Garlic crusher
Grater
Small frying pan
Large deep sided frying pan
Small milk pan
Medium saucepan
Decent knives, small, medium, carving and bread
Chopping boards
Silicone spatulas, small and large
Pair of tongs
Balloon whisk (see blender above, some come with a whisk too)
Wooden spoons
Digital scales
Set of measuring spoons
Set of measuring cups
Medium mixing bowl
Pyrex bowls, one large, one small
Large roasting tray
Small roasting tray
Decent thick oven cloths or silicone hand square things

I think that's my basic use every week in some way list!
(Depending on if she bakes I'd add in, couple of 8 inch cake tins, a 12 hole muffin tin, a brownie tray 20 x 30cm and some flat sheet cookie trays)

Pizza cutter
Decent size strainer
Tupperware
Heat mat or two

Lakeland have some lovely mixing bowls at present in beautiful colours or the Joseph Joseph coloured ones that stack inside each other would be a great present. Some gave me a Peter Rabbit and squirrel spatula for Secret Santa last year and they always make me smile. Not something I would have bought myself.

Agree measuring cups and spoons are very useful. Flour sifter.

Great list above.

Voucher for lakeland so she can buy exactly what she wants. It’s a lovely thought but I’d want to choose my own equipment based on my own preferences and experiences.

I agree - my list of essentials would have some key differences to those already supplied and I imagine everyone has their own idea, as well as preferences.

A voucher makes more sense.

Also pop into charity shops. There is always an awful lot of kitchen things in there. Not everything has to be brand new if it is in good working order.

I often get Pyrex dishes and sauce boats from there.

For me, a tkmaxx voucher. Can then wait for what is really wanted at a good price.
