Help with cleaning shower please

I have recently moved and would like to make the shower look clean and bright.

The plastic shower tray has dirty patches on it, and in parts (near the bottom) the grouting between the tiles has gone black.

Please could you recommend what products I should buy to bring everything up clean again, and which cloths / sponges are the best to use for the job?

I would use CIF on the shower tray.

For the grouting, mix some bicarbonate of soda in to a paste with a little water. Spread it on the grout then spray with vinegar. This will make it fizz. When it's done fizzing, wipe/scrub off.

If that doesn't work, black mould remover will.

Just a jay cloth should be fine. Or one of the yellow/green scourer sponges, use the green scourer side if it's particularly bad.

Bleach for the grouting. Pink stuff for the shower tray

Likely the dark patches are limescale that's just dirty. I use the black harpic toilet cleaner, also Barmens friend very good.

Toothbrushes very good for getting right in there! Also a glass scraper if used gently.

You need to actually get rid of/clean the mould. Do not just bleach it as you are covering it up. Do the bleach last, again with a toothbrush in tricky areas.

HG mould spray on the black areas. Old toothbrush to get into the grout and sealant.

Dettol mould remover in a green bottle, but it stinks so make sure you have a window open.
If it's really bad spray and then push some cotton wool up against it so that the liquid stays in contact with the mould. Leave to work for an hour or so, scrub with an old toothbrush, rinse and repeat as necessary.

I use a washing up sponge with washing up liquid. I do it when I'm having a shower so I'm on the inside naked and can get everywhere and rinse it down.

Use Dettol mould remover if you have a small amount of black mould. We had a lot and decided to get the cubicle retiled but when the guy took the old tiles off it turned out the whole wall was mouldy because there was a leak going from the shower down the inside of the wall and back into the shower tray so we weren't alerted to it. It had probably been like that since the house was built (16 years). He replaced the wall, put in a new shower and new tiles and it's fine now.
